To ensure your e-file lasts as long as possible and remains safe to use, regular cleaning and maintenance are essential. Here’s how to properly care for your e-file and bits to keep everything running smoothly. Step 1: Clean the Bits After Every Use: Use a stiff brush to remove any dust or debris from the bits after each use. Sanitize: After brushing, sanitize the bits by soaking them in a disinfectant solution that is safe for metal (if applicable). Follow the manufacturer’s instructions on how long to soak them. Dry Completely: Make sure to dry the bits thoroughly before storing them to prevent rust or corrosion. Step 2: Clean the Handpiece Wipe the handpiece of the e-file with a disinfectant wipe after each use to keep it free from dust and oils.
